Review Description: I did not find the Shokz bone conduction headsets to be very comfortable. Lunis Orcutt recommended the ADDASOUND KB SR2832, a wireless headset that has comfortable ear pads. I purchased this item from the KnowBrainer store, and included the leather ear pads. Setup was easy. To test the headset, I read (dictated) into WordPerfect the text of two long letters. There were no mistakes! In later dictations, the only errors that occurred were understandable, reminding me to speak more clearly. For example, I said “ladder,” which printed out as “letter.” Playback sound is top-notch. This is the best headset I have used. Highly recommended.

By email, Lunis suggested this one, which he said would be a good replacement for my beloved years-old VXI headset. He was absolutely right. In fact, it's better than the old one. Terrific speech recognition and good audio for phone calls, podcasts, etc. And no, you can't find it cheaper on Amazon. Kudos for top-notch customer service, too. Questions are answered quickly and clearly. I will never try any other retailer for Dragon products ever again.

Description: They were shipped lightning fast and I got them in two days! Just took them out of the box, plugged them in, my computer recognized them right away. I added them to my dictation sources in Dragon and read the little paragraph and I was off and running. I have only had a couple of words mistranslate but after correcting those in Dragon Pad it hasn't happened again. These are lightweight, and one of my favorite features is the rotating ear cups so you can angle them to fit your particular ears. I am used to closed-back headphones but they weren't right for speech recognition. I needed them because my dictation environment is often louder than preferred (dogs and a kid) and I appreciate the noise blocking effect. However, the headphone speakers in these are very clear and allow me to decipher my transcription audio very well, despite the occasional outbursts in my environment. I'm really glad these were recommended for me and they are wonderful so far!
