"It's one the worst devices I ever bought, possbly the worst."

Review Description: Hardware unreliable. Software gets stuck, removing battery only way to fix it, which means a complete restart every time, in the heat of the moment you are trying to record on the spot. Then when it does start well, it can also suddenly get stuck without you realizing in the middle of an important recording, not what you want. Its proprietary DSS encrypted format is fine, except it severely locks you in to that device and software, as very few other options exist otherwise, which can be a problem if you need to transfer the files to a new setup later on. Limited conversion options. Poor filename naming convention upon initial setup. Very poor timestamp formats for the filename can be added. Potential to accidentally overwrite files since device standard config only respects unique filenames inside its app - once that file leaves the app, its filename can be reused which means when you transfer the new file with the same name to the same folder you transferred the old one, the old one gets overwritten. Also, its very easy to end up with a folder full of files with little stability in creation date, which could have significant consequences if this data is to be relied upon as evidence. On reflection, this hardware and its software were hyped on launch, bit it's been nothing but a long-term aggravating disappointment to me that regret ever buying. I will never again consider buying this brand, it was my one and only first time and there will not be a second. I do NOT recommend it at all and cannot fathom why it is even still being sold on the market!
